New Jersey

(from club's site) -
The Ukulele Club Of New Jersey was founded by Joan Parent who put a sign-up sheet out at the Ukulele Hall of Fame Expo in Montclair, New Jersey in 2002.
A number of people from around New Jersey showed interest, and since then members have taken turns hosting a Uke Gathering at their homes every month!
The gatherings have become real fun affairs with great food, drink and always plenty of laughs.
In the summer months we’ve begun to have outdoor gatherings at Thompson Park in Lincroft, N.J.
At every gathering the host will usually provide new music printed out although anyone is free to bring any new music. We’ve amassed quite a large collection of tunes by now!

Nashville Ukulele Society (NUkeS)
Links
(from their site)
The purpose of The Nashville Ukulele Society (NUkeS) is to have fun, learn how to play, and grow as musicians. The ukulele, invented in Hawaii in 1879, is a wonderful instrument for all music levels.
You can attend without owning or having picked up a musical instrument. If you have always wanted to play a musical instrument but have thought it was too difficult then the Ukulele is the instrument for you. It is a very easy instrument to learn to play.
There is no cost to attend a meeting. So whether you're an 'Uker' or not, please come join us for one of our meetings. There will be at least one extra ukulele on hand so if you own more than one ukulele (and you don't mind sharing) bring your extras so that everyone can join in on the strum/sing alongs.
